At the state fair of Texas there's fried twinkies, fried cookie dough, and even fried Coke (haven't tried that one yet). <br /><br />This is in addition to the normal stuff like corn dogs, fried fish, chicken fried steak, and fried chicken.<br /><br />After years of hearing that sweet potatoes are better for you that regular potatoes, we're starting to see a lot of restaurants serving sweet potato fries.<br /><br />I don't think that's going to help.<br /><br />And I wouldn't get used to those fried pickles if I were you. A regular pickle is like ten calories. I have no idea what it is after frying.
