I'm Going To Start Borrowing Kids

My wonderful nieces came down to visit me this week from Maryland. They are still here so my place looks like a war zone. I'm not used to this and it's driving me crazy but I can deal for another couple of days. Oy Vey. lol

When they first got here I asked them what they wanted to do over the week. They immediately piped up and shouted, "Go see Rio!" I was so relieved. Truth be told I wanted to see this movie myself but I couldn't justify going on my own. Come on! You know good and well it would look weird for a grown woman going into a movie theater to see an animated flick without any kids so I was so glad they wanted to see it too. Score! I was this close to borrowing someones kid.

I completely forgot how messy kids cane be. There is spilled juice on my cream colored carpet, video games all over the living room, used dishes in the sink and on the stove, lights left on. I mean can you please cut off the lights when you leave a room? Is it really the difficult?

I love my babies but is it Saturday yet?

I suppose 18 is older than you'd want? I have one I'm barely using that I'd be thrilled to lend out for a while. ;P

The Rio thing is why I've never reviewed kids movies on my site. It's just something strange about going to a kids movie alone. Creepy!

Kids messy? Tell me about it! I swear I clean this house top to bottom like three times a day and you would NEVER know it!

Just telling it like it is said...

Messiness tends not to bother as much after you have a couple of kids...No use in fighting the war they always win!!! Glad you liked the Movie...oh and I'm not dead I'm back!!!!!

I have cream carpet that looks more like brown with my three kids. I had to get title in most of my apartment for that reason. Love how you liked going to see Rio and you were going to borrow kids. Next time you get that idea let me know and I will gladly send mine over. I can't promise they will know how to clean their plate but for sure I will have them turn off the lights! :0)

I want to see Hop, and I will end up going alone because I don't have any children to borrow.

Nothing like a good excuse to watch a kiddie movie. The good thing is that they go back home, right?
