Well...Well.....Well

OK, I know it's been ages since I've posted in my blog. You will not believe how crazy it's been. I've been working my ass off and I can't afford that. lol I've had 2 graduations to attend in the last couple days, and so much other stuff going on.

Well, let me start off by saying that The Analyst has finally gotten a job.....Thank God! He has been so stressed lately it's been driving ME crazy but he has a start date of June 1st and he's excited and I'm excited for him. He got a HUGE pay increase too so he's really thrilled about that. The job is in NJ so he'll be staying there during the week and coming to my house on the weekends. We'll see how long that lasts. I'm just glad he'll be working again. Unemployment really takes a toll on a man's self worth and self esteem.

I was called to jury duty Monday. Let me tell you, I have not been called in about 14 years. The exact same thing happened Monday that happened then. I was herded into a holding pin with all the other cattle where we proceeded to wait....and wait.....and wait some more. It was grueling. Every case except one was either settled or postponed so we sat there the entire day looking at old ass movies. Whatever. I was ecstatic when they said "Your time has been served and you are free to go." Can I tell you the woman hadn't even finished her statement when people began pushing and shoving trying to get out of there. I just cowered in the corner until the coast was clear.

I must tell you that there was a woman that had some sort of coughing problem. This woman could not stop coughing, It was brutal and guess what, of course she had to sit next to guess who...you guessed right... ME!!! Damn the luck. Every time this chick coughed I just cringed. It was awful. I hate for people to cough around me because I don't know what airborne illness they may have and I damn sure don't want it. It was agonizing. I was just about to get up and find somewhere else to sit when she decided to get up. Joy of joys.

Oh yeah, I sure could do this jury duty thing every day.

Good about the Analyst, but where does your relationship stand?

Isn't that kinda a long term relationship? And weren't you done with him on NYE?

You know you probably just jinxed me for jury duty now.

Swing by my place, I answered your question.

Oops, I meant long distance, not long term. Doh!

Your so busy but you managed to change your look????

Ahhh typical female, we can do so much in the little time we have!

Love the new look!

Oh, and I've been blessed, I've never been called to do jury service.

I remember reading about the analyst before. Are you two in a relationship and if so could you handle the long distance?<--sorry for the nosiness lol

I have yet to have jury duty *crossing fingers that it will stay the same in the near future*

Jury Duty = Yawnfest. And my boss definitely didn't get it when I told her while SHE might be able to get out of serving, I can't. Thankfully I wasn't called or I'd tell them EVERYONE was guilty.

BTW - LOVING THE NEW FORMAT!!!

I've never done jury duty. With all the stories I hear about people just sitting, wasting the day and being sent home, I'd think the courts would come up with a better solution.

Oh man!! I got picked for a murder trial some years ago... I appreciate the freedom and culture we have in America to do my civic duty, but I don't think I ever want to again!!!

Happiness for the analyst, it can be a tough world out there!!

Thank goodness about the Analyst. I have never been called to jury duty, but I want to be so bad!

I hated jury duty! Glad it wasn't me. Good news for the Analyst. How's that relationship going?

UGH - jury duty is the worst and that chick that was coughing would have totally pissed me off. I would have definitely gotten up and moved and I probably would have made some sighing noises so that she knew I was annoyed! ha ha that's how I roll!!

Congrats to the Analyst!

I was called to jury duty but only had to call in every Monday to see if I had to come down to the courthouse, luckily I never did.

So glad the Analyst is in full paid employ...and you're right, it can be very offputting in anyone's life to be without proper employment. So you didn't like Jury Duty? You mean all that fun went to waste? I've been called a few dozen times and when they asked occupation I said Deputy Sheriff and was excused toot sweet...post haste...don't let the door hit you in the arse...now that I'm retired I'm going to have find a new gig, lol! The very thought of Jury Duty makes me ill!

Although I love jury duty - I'm glad yours was kind of brief. Well except for perhaps the TB that you contacted - but it was brief huh?

I've never been called for Jury Duty and I secretly want to get a juicy murder case, but at the same time I hear it's usually just a giant snoozefest and I'd get the luck of hanging out next to the cougher, too. So never mind.

Happy LONG Holiday weekend to you, girlie!!

I've never had jury duty before (knock on wood), but watch when I do, it will be for some high profile murder trial that lasts two years!

So whatever happened to the other dudes or did I miss that post? (Yep I'm being nosy, lol!)
