I think I'm Ready

OK, so I am finally seeing my way clear of boxes so now I am in the process of trying to make my apartment feel like home. I finally feel like I am ready to start hanging out and as I think about that I am starting to get excited. I'm going to start perusing my email to see what the happenings are here in Atlanta. the weather is supposed to be GORGEOUS this weekend so I am excited about doing a little exploring.

I've been working from home and I am actually starting to enjoy it. It does take some getting use to, being home all day and all. It felt a little weird at first but starting to settle into that as well. All in all I'm feeling pretty darn good these days.

I feel bad that I haven't had time to go around and explore your blogs lately but I am going to fix that right now and I am going to go around and visit each of you because I miss my bloghearts.

What are your plans for the upcoming weekend?

Glad to hear you're settled into the apartment and feel ready to explore Atlanta. You'll find lots to do, I'm sure.

We're enjoying some beautiful weather this week, but it's leaving just in time for the weekend. :P Not a lot on tap this weekend....a movie with my daughter (who actually wants to spend time with me!!!), and I suppose I've ignored the dust bunnies and laundry as long as is humanly possible.

Have a great time exploring!

It takes a bit of adjustment just to settle into a new apartment, much less into a whole new world when you relocate to another state and a new city. Glad to hear you're feeling much more settled though.
This weekend, my older grandson will be coming up here Saturday nite to spend the nite and all day Sunday with us here. And I'll no doubt be busy with my embroidery and some cooking. Next weekend though -Friday nite and Saturday nite too -my little granddaughter, Miss Maya, will make her first appearance on the stage as she will portray a mouse in "Cinderella!" She knows the dialogue for the entire play now for everyone else! Her role is that of a mouse who dances around, from what I've been able to ascertain. But she knows everyone's lines plus the words and melody to all the songs too! Can you tell how proud I am of her?

I think it'd be hard for me to work from home, but at the same time I kinda do that when I'm all by myself @ work. LOL
Happy to know you're all settled and ready for becoming: diva, the explorer!
:)
Happy weekend!

I bet my plans are very different from yours! Two of my kids are having friends spend the night tonight. Saturday after they leave we are going to Home Depot or Lowes and getting stuff to start the remodel on the downstairs bathroom. Sounds fun right?!
