There's Something Wrong With This Picture

I have a coworker that is constantly talking about her weight. She complains about being too heavy and how she wants to get rid of all that weight and so forth.

I stopped by her desk earlier and why did I find her popping diet pills at the exact same time she's cramming mini chocolate donuts from Tastykake down her throat?

There's nothing wrong with that picture at all is there?

Just some mixed priorities -I'd say do the chocolates first, then the diet pills. Well, that's how I would operate anyway! LOL

Lol! Hmmmm...I guess that's not too different from me complaining about how tight my jeans fit me while i'm struggling to zip them up so I can run up to Burger King and grab a Whopper wit cheese. *sigh*

Not at all.

I mean I eat ding dongs before I work out!!!While taking Ali pills. LOL. Seriously I have, I don't anymore.

Everyone is looking for a quick fix. Success comes before work only in the dictionary. We want instant gratification and will vie for it at all costs!

We are always looking for that perfect fix to make us better, smarter, thinner, happier without having to work for it.

I feel sorry for her - she obviously is caught up in the weight loss game - I hope she doesn't hurt herself...

Its like a diet coke with a double cheeseburger.

Well they are mini-donuts.

And was she drinking a diet coke?

And how do you know the diet pills weren't stuffed inside of the donuts?

Yes, she's all messed up for real by doing that. She better stop before she hurts herself for real, for real.

Ugh. Yeah, I'd say she's definitely setting herself for some health problems. It's sad really.

Does she think the pills will suck out all the fat of the dohnuts since she ate them at the same time?

yeah I have a friend that will work out for an hour and then treat herself to something fattening reasoning that she just worked out and can eat the extra calories. Has always seemed funny to me. Plus she never seems to loose weight...hmm wonder why?

It's like ordering that diet coke with your Big Mac and fries!

Guilt trip. I shoved those lovely chocolate donuts down my throat yesterday.

Today it was a sticky bun.

I'm on my way!

I have a very good friend who is morbidly obese. She just got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and may end up needing to do insulin shots pretty soon.
She can still live a healthy life if she starts eating healthy and exercising, but it's not what she knows.
She's used to eating a bucket full of chicken if that's what sounds good at the moment.
Sigh. It's hard to unlearn things!

Kind of like the fat people who used to order the extra large tub of popcorn specified with layers of fake butter and then they order an extra larger Coke.

And then they go, "Wait, better make it a diet!"

... yeah, I'm sure that'll help

I see people do this all the time, and it never fails to leave me with my head shaking.

I know a girl that had her stomach stapled, lost loads of weight, looked gorgeous, but the whole time she was loosing it, I witnessed her constantly eating chips, etc. I knew her new found figure, would soon be gone by the wayside, just as it now has.

All that money down the drain, because she still was unable to change her eating habits.
