I definitely hear you! It has gotten to the point where I have to make sure I am only driving the car towards certain areas of town where I need to hit up more than one store. If not, it seems to not be cost effective. We will never see gas at $2 a gallon ever again....

I've been considering a big trike with a two cycle engine to take to town...can't look anymore ridiculous than the golf carts on the road! And they'd go faster, lol...glad so see your visit at my place...I do love your blog...you make me laugh out loud

What? $4.09 a litre? (Don't laugh, I live in Canada, we measure by litres)
I'm guessing that's a gallon. Now if I just knew how many litres were in a gallon, I'd get this.
Here it's climbed to $1.45 a litre... that is a lot. It used to be .33 cents a litre when I was pregnant with my son, 8 years ago... Now that is inflation. -

Sure do agree here too that the gas prices are totally ridiculous! Living out in the boonies where we are, you HAVE to have a car, no public transportation ya know. It's a royal pain in the dupa but we're trying to combine errands with appointments. With two little ones with therapy appointments and an oldster like me with medical issues too, it's the only way we can even try to manage.

I loved those big wheels. Curses to my mother who sold it for $2 at a yard sale in 1984.

I did kick the shyt outta the gas pump the other day, though when $45 only put me at 3/4 of a tank full. BP clerk come runnin out talkin bout they would call the police...I started to kick her in the ass while I was at it! -
