Oh...Boy!

As you all know, I’ve been dating Mr. Construction and The Manager casually trying to decide who actually has staying power if either one does. Well I hadn’t heard from The Manager in 7 – 9 days. Yep, you read it correctly 7-9DAYS!

I receive a text message out of the blue:

Hey you, had 2 get another phone, been moving, call me

I ignored those sweet little words and never responded to that text.

He then decides to call me a little later when he realized he was on ignore status. I reached for my phone thinking it was someone I actually WANTED to speak with, looked at the caller ID display and immediately hit the “Fuck You” button and proceeded with my day.

How dare you think I’m cool with being ignored for a week?

Then The Analyst calls in search of some mail that he was expecting from his tenants in GA. It did not come. He then asked if he could crash at my house for the night as he has no money and need to wait on the mail for tomorrow. My nice, sweet, DUMB ASS said “Sure, no problem.” Mind you I have a date with Mr. Construction tonight.

What the fuck am I supposed to do now?

hahahaha....the answer to that question is to let ol boy mr construction know the dilly-e-o...let dude stay at the crib since you already said yeah and mr construction should step himself and show that he can be understanding under the circumstances cause it sounds like you leaning towards him anyway.

Hmm.. what to do, what to do.. How about lock the doors, order a pizza (have that come to the back door) park in the garage, turn on your favorite movie, and sip on some wine..
Oh yeah... don't answer the phone..

Umm GO LOL

I've done that before if you trust him to stay at your house then leave his tail if not make up some excuse about why he cant come over...well not an excuse just say you forgot you had plans...or that you wont be home till 1am if he wants to come over then LOL

I hate when they think that's cool....diss em and dismiss em is what I say

Well, did you make it clear to the Analyst that he would be sleeping on the couch?

Or is that more the problem? You and Mr. Construction usually spend a lot of time making out on the couch after the date.

Maybe you have time to call the Analyst back and tell him now that you've had time to think about it, it's not really a good idea. And where has he been staying anyway?

laughingattheslut - I have a spare bedroom that The Analyst will stay in...he knows this. But Mr. Constructiona and I do spend quite a bit of time on the couch after dates just making out and watching TV.

I may just switch our date to tomorrow. I don't know....:(

Just meet the date somewhere else! Have a make out session out in a field somewhere. :)

The Ambiguous Blob - You're kidding right? lol

Yeah, be careful cause the Analyst might not ever leave.

I hope you and the construction worker are going somewhere fun! Just be honest with him, hopefully he'll understand.

I live with my ex boyfriend and my new boyfriend is okay with it. He doesn't love it, but he deals with it.

Good luck!

I need clarification...is your reason for concern that you think the Analyst is going to act a fool when Mr. Construction shows up? If so, I'd just have Mr. Construction meet me somewhere else and maybe try cudling up at his place this time.

Now...if your reason for concern is that you think it may hurt The Ananlyst's feelings...pardon my french...but F*CK DAT! I'd have Mr. Construction pick me up at the house & make sure the Analyst see me leave with him wearing my best "f*ck 'em girl" dress on! Let him know that your life didn't stop just because he's not in it anymore. Has he put his life on hold worried about your feelings? I could be wrong, but probably not. So why should you?

What's that old saying..."One monkey don't stop no show"

But that's just my two cents

Hey D...I'm new to your spot. I've seen you here and there and thought I'd pop in. Having read your stuff...all I can say is I'll be back.

"hit the FU Button?" That was too funny.

go on the date and walk by the Analyst on your couch and sway your hips when you walk by, into your bedroom. Or dont come home at all. Ha.
