Yaaaayyyyy Me!!

People, people, people. Let me tell you. Sunday before last I sat around my hotel room just eating a bag of Grandma Utz's. A whole big bag....by myself!! For those of you that don't know, they are the devil! Oh my goodness they are good.

Well, I ate the whole bag, by myself. A few hours afterward I started to feel a little....I don't know...a little...yucky. Like I needed to purge my system of all that grease I just consumed. Well I decided right then and there that starting the very next day (last Monday) that I was going to go on a crash diet to cleanse my system then kinda maintain good eating habits from then on.

I also decided that I would lose 5 - 10 pounds in the process and maintain that. I must tell you that I feel as though I am overweight for my height but most people keep telling me how tiny I am. Whatever! In my quest I rushed out to the grocery store and bought fruit and yogurt and popcorn and Slimfast and swore off all fried foods and red meats. I'm actually surprised that I've been able to keep this up. I'm pretty proud of myself. I've never been one to watch what I eat or dieted or any of that. I've never been one to gain weight....until recently. Those damn chips lead me to this revelation that I needed to watch what I eat so that I don't feel as yucky as I did that day.

I am happy to announce that I lost a total of 5 pounds in this week and a half that I have been watching what I ate!! Yaaayyyy!! I got on the scale today for the first time because I could actually feel a difference. Something as small as five pounds really made me feel better. I slept better and my waist went in like a half of a half of a mili-inch. lol

I think I am going to keep this up because without all that junk in my system I feel so much better.

Go girl! Even if you're skinny like a twig, you eat unhealty = you are unhealthy. Making good choices makes you feel GOOD.
Now, when will pizza become a good choice?
Waiting patiently...

Congrats! I know I have lost 20 pounds since last summer and it's amazing the difference. I have a lot more to go and need to get serious with it again.

That's fucking awesome!!!! When I lived in Maryland, I used to eat those Grandma Utz chips like they were going out of style and I too could eat the whole bag. Then I moved to Vegas and guess what? They don't have Utz out here - isn't that insane?????? I miss those chips and I miss old bay chips too.

Anyway, I've been dieting for about 2 or 3 weeks now and I'm even taking phentermine pills from the doctor. I just want to lose like 5 or 10 pounds too. I'm not sure how much I've lost so far, because I don't have a scale, but I think I'm starting to feel a difference.

congrats. I have 5-10 pounds more to lose (I already lost 10). But for me Doritos and French Fries are the devil's tools. I can't shake 'em. I've given up red meat long ago (a decade) and that helped. I cute back majorly on candy. And I eat fried chicken like once a year. But I love fries. All kinds! They need to make a patch for it!

Damn, I wish you wouldn't have finished the bag, you could have sent the crumbs to me!

Grandma Utz is the devil, and her spawn is Goods in the Blue bag.

Have a great weekend!

Wow! Congrats girl! I'm definitely feelin' you on this one. Dropping 5-10 pounds would make me feel so much better! I get those same 'you're so tiny' comments all the time...yet, i don't feel so tiny. I need to take a lesson from you and learn to eat better. Well, that and add a little cardio to my life!

That's fabulous! Way to go! I know what you mean when you sit down to a huge dinner, eat way too much and feel like someone is sitting on you afterwards you are so full!

I hope to get on the same bandwagon next week when life for me should return to normal.

I am so envious I could cry. I need to lose 10 pounds of baby weight & have had NO (as in zero) motivation. My family is even having a huge reunion next month & I’ll be seeing people I haven’t seen in over a decade. Oh, perhaps, I need a big kick in the butt. For now, I'll just be happy for you & hope it rubs off soon.

I just found your blog - hilarious! Congrats on the weight loss. Chips are the devil. I can sit and eat an entire bag of kettle cooked chips easily. So bad...yet so freaking good.

Well done, Diva! I need to get on that health train myself as I'm carrying an extra 10-20 lbs and I can feel it. You've inspired me.
