My Life Dating

I am having a rather interesting time dating these days since my break up with The Analyst. I am not in a relationship with anyone at this time but I do find myself attracted to and dating two different men. They are both extremely handsome….especially The Manager. He is too sexy for words. Mr. Construction has a body to die for and extremely handsome as well.

I don’t know where any of this is going. Not sure if a relationship will ensue from either of these men but I’m having a great time dating them both until something concrete materializes at which point I will have to say good bye to one of them as I can’t be in a relationship with someone and see other people. That is a definite no no.

Neither of these guys knows of each other basically because there is no need for that. I’m not sure if they are seeing other people right now or not themselves. The Manager tells me he’s not but I’m not quite sure.

I think I am starting to have stronger feelings for The Manager then Mr. Construction. It seems that every time I’m with Mr. Construction I am constantly thinking of The Manager. Hmmmmmm……..

I didn’t hear from The Manager yesterday or this morning thus far which is VERY unusual. He’s been having problems with his cell phone so I am hoping that maybe it’s broken or lost or something like that. I’m not going to push the panic button quite yet.

I really do like him but we’ll see how it goes. I like Mr. Construction but this weekend I saw some character traits that I’m not sure I like very much. He orders before me. That may sound silly but I am use to men allowing me to place my order first at a restaurant. He just went ahead and ordered. I was shocked. While at my house last night he left the movie ticket stubs on my floor! I know he saw those stubs because they were next to his hat and when he went to grab his hat to leave he just left those stubs on the floor. UGH!!! That irked me. Am I making to big a deal of all this? I don’t know.

I really hope to hear from The Manager today. I really miss him actually.

WHOA... dag TWO dudes...that's sounding like you're having a ball...LOL. Yeah, go with your gut girl, if dude is not your fancy now...it's probably for a reason and NO, I don't think you're making a big deal outta nothing...I'd have felt the same way.

Always best to trust your gut and I've also found to trust where your mind wanders. Your inner wisdom knows what what.

agreeing with everyone else, u r not making a big deal of those things...but then, i'm still dating, too:-). maybe u should ask some happily married woman if her husband orders before her (that would also irk me to the point that i probably would NOT go on another date;-).

enjoy ALL the pamperings U can GET, Sistah Diva! Don't know what's in the air, but, i too am loving the options who are presenting themselves lately!

Ahhh CHOICES!!! Love it.

The ordering before me wouldn't bother me at all. I'm married and I think my husband always orders before me. More than anything, I think he orders for me. I never thought of it as being 'not cool' you always have me thinking :)

p.s. TWO guys to choose from? I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dating is the weirdest thing to me... But dating a hunk of burnin' love is pretty awesome. :)

I don't think that there's anything wrong with the man ordering first at a restaurant, and I don't think that the movie stubs were a big deal. But those were a couple of things that you noticed, and you've marked them as negatives. If you end up in a serious relationship with this man, and he keeps doing that sort of thing, it's going to bug you to death.

So now the question is do you just stop seeing the guy because he does a couple of things that bug you, or are you going to tell him that it bugs you and see if he stops. You don't want to have to tell him too much stuff like that, cause you don't want to be his mommy.

But if the Manager is that far ahead, maybe there's no point in talking to the other one anyway.

Okay - how in the hell did you meet two guys that were dateable so quickly? I go through very long stretches of being single whenever I break up with someone. I hate that!

If you like the manager more, then the things that the construction guy does that annoy you are going to be more prevalent. It's your mind trying to tell you to ditch the construction dude and start obsessing about the manager guy.

I'm dating a guy right now and even though I fucking told myself I wasn't going to get caught up - guess who I've been thinking about all damn day? So annoying!

I dunno, I'm with you on the ordering first and the ticket stubs being left on the floor. I just like men acting like gentlemen in the "courting" phase. That kind of stuff tells me that they will get more careless later on.

Follow your instincts girl!

Ah yes, little things like that are red flags for bigger things!

I think ordering before you is rude too...I'll take the Manager...

"something concrete materializes"? Sounds like a relationship with Mr. Construction...not Mr. Manager. :) Oh, it is fun to be dating & getting excited about possibilities.

Dating is the process of elimination, repeat after me, dating is the process of elimination.

You go girl!!!!!

Date as many and as often as you can if you are single. Men lie, the will not tell you the truth in the beginning of dating someone. See as many people as you can until the shoe fits and you feel like Cinderella and want to live happily ever after.

My honesty might offend some people, however you seem to have an open mind and free will. Take my information as you will.

I am very proud of you and I would not offer any information to either guy, it is not serious until you have had the “talk” or you have a ring on your finger!!!!

Now i'm going to chime in with everyone else and say, do your thang. I really liked what SSC said,
"Dating is the Process of Elimination", so why dudes be trying to tie you down after the first date...talking about exclusivity? At least that's what i get...had to cut one this week...oh well

I gotta agree with the rest of the blogosphere in saying go with your instincts/follow your heart.

Sounds like you're leaning more towards "The Manager".

Have fun with him :-)
