I'm so hungry

Ok, I don't cook very often at all. When you live alone you most often don't have the motivation to cook meals when you come home from work. It's just simpler to either heat up a frozen dinner, make a sandwich or order take out.

So I have no idea what the hell got into me to cook dinner last night but I decided to become Betty Crocker.

I decided to cook Flounder and Rice and Gravy. Amazing I know. Why is it when I sat down to inhale said gourmet meal the rice was wayyyyy to salty and the fish was mushy. How the hell could fish be mushy. I've never encountered that before. Ok so I wasn't happy.

I remembered that there were frozen taquitos in the freezer so I gleefully lept from the table and sprinted to the freezer, grabbed those precious gems and popped those babies in the oven.

Awwwww....nothing like a home cooked meal.

Sometimes, even the best recipes fall flat. Don't stop trying to be a great chef! Practice makes perfect- or so I hear.

You are too funny. Diva, I love to cook so much. I got it from my aunt so I can throw down. I can give you some tips but I don't want to deprive you from your aforementioned delicacies...

I'm just gonna say it....You went to far out on a limb with that meal. I know you were feeling it, but damn. Next time go simplier.

Leave the Food Network alone sister. They got you fooled. LOL. I always mess up my home cooked meals. I eat 'em anyway. They might be messed up but atleast I know how they got that way.

HAHAHAH! You had very good intentions . But umm if I can't nuke it..it ain't even worth my time and effort. Living alone is GRAND cuz you can do this type of mess and keep it moving!

I don't cook at all either. My meals consist of soup, take out pizza, ice cream, popcorn, and last night I really outdid myself and made some Lipton noodles. I had to boil water, open the package and cook for 7 minutes. Tough stuff! ha ha

I do not like to cook at all. I will start cooking and stop. Loves me some takeout. When you live alone it is easier.
