My Current TV Addiction - Day 14

I watch alot of TV. I mean A LOT! I love TV. It's my favorite pass time when I'm home doing nothing. What else am I supposed to do when I'm home alone, play solitaire? That's just pathetic. Play both positions on a checker board? Play Scrabble, Taboo or Spades by myself? Surf the Internet for porn sites all day? Come on people. It's not like it's a whole lot of options for a single person living alone. I read every now and then and I can not draw so TV is it.

Years ago I was addicted to Sex and the City. I would schedule my whole life around that show. 'Sure I can go to dinner. What time you wanna go? 8:00pm? Uh, that's not gonna work, SATC is on at that time.' I swear to you I was out on a date one time and I made the guy take me back home because it was time for SATC and I forgot to tape it.

Now my new addiction is the Real Housewives franchise. I like New York, New Jersey and Atlanta. I WILL NOT allow myself to get hooked on Beverly Hills so I refuse to watch. I told myself I wasn't going to watch DC but as the true addict I am I convinced myself that just a few peeks every now and then won't hurt and they of course completely sucked me in. That's like a crack addict saying just let me have one puff and I'll be good. Can't be done.

Tomorrow's post: When Did You Realize You Were Old?

Hmmm... my current TV addiction... I'm almost embarassed to say...

That stupid 'Ghost Hunters' show on Sci-Fi... I should be ashamed of myself...

Another TV obsession is 'Swamp People'... those folks on the History Channel that go out and harvest those alligators...

Yet another TV addictions is 'Storm Chasers!' I've chased a few tornadoes here in the MS Delta... It's quite a rush!!!

I think a new addiction could be that 'Walking Dead' series that's just started on AMC...

I'm sick...

I like RH of NY and OC, but I absolutely hated NJ and ATL. I didn't watch DC and I'm DVRing BH, so I may watch that in the future too. I suffer from long bouts of insomnia, so I like having my DVR full of stuff to choose from.

I don't like DC, but Beverly Hills is pretty awesome. I love the Real Housewives too. And all the CIS shows and Bones.

I have too many tv addictions to list-- it's slightly embarrassing coming from the woman who is always declaring to be so busy... :-(
