My First Car - Day 13

So my father was THE MAN! I loved that man. He was the hardest working person I think I had ever seen. As my brothers and I grew up and got our drivers licences my father bought each of us our first cars! Yeah pop!

My middle brother who is 3 years younger then me got his licence first therefore got his car first. He got a beautiful white Firebird. That car was gorgeous. My brother LOVED that car and was never seen out of it.

My youngest brother, when it was his turn, received a Grey Chevy Bronco. He hated it and refused to drive it. Spoiled ass.

When I got my licence I got a beauty of a car. One that everyone was jealous of and hated me for. I got a....

A Datsun B210. What about MY Firebird or MY Bronco? I got a freaking Datsun B210. But you know what? I loved that car and drove it EVERYWHERE.

Hey, as long as it gets you to where you need to go lol...My first car was a Granada...The power steering went out while I was driving...My reverse followed so if I couldnt park where I could pull out I had to get out and push LOL

Isn't it fun to think back on that "First Car" though? Mine was a 1967 Chevy Nova, with a sticker price of $2,619! Can anyone even imagine a brand new car with a price tag like that? Of course, you know I'm an oldie here so that explains a lot, huh? My best friend got a Chevy Nova too about 2 months after I got mine hers was yellow with a black top and we called them "Little Boy Blue " and "Buttercup" -and both of them had "issues" from time to time too. But still and all, I ran that buggy, day in, day out, for almost 7 years till my ex-husband traded it for something, don't even remember what now. It got me back and forth to work for 5 years, in D.C. rush hour traffic with no let-downs and no accidents either! In retrospect, it really was a pretty darned good little old buggy, ya know!

That's a cute car ! I don't care much about what I drive, as long as it doesn't break down.
